Open Pot
Take 1:3 ratio of rice & water in a bowl, boil it while stirring it occasionally, reduce heat and boil gently for 12-15mins, while keeping the bowl uncovered. Drain well & Serve.

Close Pot
Bring 1 cup of rice and 1 and a half cups of water to boil, stirring occasionally. Lower Heat, cover and simmer for 12-14 mins, remove from heat and let it stand covered for 5-10mins
Microwave
Place 1 cup of rice and one and half cup cups of water in a microwave container , cook on medium -high in a microwave for 15 mins. Let it stand for 5 mins Before serving, fluff with a fork.
